Let's talk about thread today
What brand do you use?
Are you an Aurifil admirer? A Gutterman girl? A Mettler maniac? Or some other brand?
Do you use the same brand for piecing as you do quilting?
Do you use different weights?
What about color? Complimentary? Contrasting? Neutral?
Aurifil is my favorite, although I've used Gutterman and it's fine, except more "linty" than I would prefer. Quilting: my favorite, hands down, is King Tut in all its lovely colors and blends. Color is usually complementary because my quilting isn't good enough yet to stand out. ;-)
