Stonehenge Event

Have you seen the Stonehenge line of fabrics from Northcott? These fabrics are gorgeous! They are saturated in color and rich in texture and depth. One of our local quilt shops, Bolts to Binding, carries a very large selection of the Stonehenge line, and they are hosting a Stonehenge Event on Saturday, May the 12th. As stated on the Northcott site:

"It’s no secret that the Stonehenge collection is one of Northcott’s best-selling fabrics throughout the country and the world! Stonehenge has become a household name. Quilters love the variety of textures Stonehenge offers, bringing depth and a unique design to into every quilt.
Our Sales Manager, Vic Dadika, loves to throw Stonehenge Events.  He talks to a room full of quilters, both old and new about everything Stonehenge. Vic takes you through how Stonehenge was developed by Linda Ludovico, the patterns and projects available, upcoming new Stonehenge fabrics, and the history of Northcott."

There is a $5.00 non-refundable fee to reserve your seat at the event. Your fee will be applied to purchases made in the store that day. Stop by the shop at 930 Wible Road, and check out the shop sample made in these gorgeous fabrics!
p.s. While you are at it, check out the yummy Bella Solids by Moda. They are luscious!

Happy stitching,
Lynn

A New Modern Quilting Magazine in the Works

I'm so excited to share this news! There is a new modern quilting magazine in the works, and it's going to be fabulous. I know the magazine owner, and she will do an awesome job of representing the modern quilting community! The magazine is already a sponsor for QuiltCon. Keep your eyes peeled for Modern Quilts Unlimited in the near future!

Question of the Week

This week's question is about shopping for fabric. Do you do the majority of your shopping online or in your local fabric shops? If you shop online, please share your favorite websites.
