QUESTION OF THE WEEK

We had a great tutorial at our Saturday meeting! We learned how to use prairie points to add a little pizzazz to tea towels. I'm going to be making some for Christmas and hostess gifts! What quick gifts are you making for Christmas this year?

  1. Throw Quilts for my mother, sister, and two daughters. It's a labor of love. Each different and designed specifically for each one of their tastes!

  2. Probably a few cute tea towels for my quilty friends. I don't have a lot of Christmas sewing to start, but some projects from last year just might get finished this year!!!

  3. I'm doing some prairie point trimmed tea towels and sets of fabric coasters for the women in my family. The guys are getting a bottle of whiskey!

  4. @Lynn - you can make fabric bottle bags for the whiskey so the guys don't feel left out!

The only Christmas sewing I have planned right now is a quilt for another aunt.

  5. I hope to get a couple of quick table runners done. Other than that, my gifts are bigger projects.

  6. I'm making some fabric shopping bags for my mom. For my mother-in-law I want to make a quilt-as-you-go bag, a mug rug, some fabric coasters, patchwork kitchen towels, and a tea cup pin cushion. (I love making stuff for her--she always loves and appreciates everything I make!)
