Sew-In Saturday

Sixteen BMQG members and friends shared quality sewing, chatting, shopping and pizza-eating time at our February sew-in at Strawberry Patches. It was great to have 3 new people join us for the fun! The room was full of creative energy and lots of laughter! Thanks go to Strawberry Patches for hosting, and Pam, Bob and Nicci for providing food and drink. We're already looking forward to the next one!

Thank you to all who came to our past meeting!  It was a great turn out, lots of fun, and a new technique learned!

Then Pam taught us all about needle turn applique! (She even had fabulous little giveaways!)

Here is a beautiful example that she brought to show us!

We slaved hard at our little circles and some even started making birds!  Thank you to all who took the time to come out and join us!

We also handed out the fabric to the Modern Quilt Guild Challenge!  We will be doing baby quilts (with some doing quilt blocks!)

We will also be having our sew in this Saturday, July 9th!  Please stop by To Quilt n' Sew anytime between 10 and 4!   This is an open sewing time to bring whatever project(s) you are working on and have some fun at the same time!

June Sew In

Just a quick reminder that our June Sew In is this coming Saturday, June 11th.  Stop by To Quilt n' Sew anytime between 10 and 4!  

We will also be having a little potluck, so please contact Lynn at longarmlynn at aol dot com if you would like to join in and share some yummy food!  

This is a great time to get to know everyone a little better and share in some fun!  We will also be offering some one on one time sharing binding techniques for anyone who would like some more tips.  This will be offered from 12-1 PM.
